A November to celebrate

It’s been a busy month at John Roe Toyota, and we’ve been lucky enough to attend some great events and celebrate a milestone anniversary. We’re looking forward to see what December has in store, but for now, here’s a round up of the last month.

Heart of Community awards

We’re really honoured to have presented the Volunteer of the Year award to Peter Cribb at the Grimsby Heart of Community Awards this month, hosted by the Grimsby Telegraph. It was great to come together and recognise the inspiring individuals who shape our local community and we would like to say a big congratulations to everyone involved.

Passed with flying colours

Staff members across all three dealerships have been working away to attain their personal and professional achievements. In November, Olly Hilton at Hull was awarded Toyota Sales Consultant – Foundation Level, Scunthorpe’s Richard passed his Gold Assignment with a Distinction and Suzanna passed her Masters! We are really proud of each of them and appreciate the hard work.

A milestone three decades

On 16th November, Grimsby staff member Steve Harrison celebrated his 30th work anniversary. Joining the John Roe family in 1989, Steve has moved from various teams over the years and has made an invaluable contribution to the business. He enjoyed a spot of karaoke, but will properly celebrate at the Goodwood Festival of Speed next summer.

We’re can’t wait to see what December holds. So far, Lorinda Roe has been making the dealerhips that bit more festive with her Christmas decorations. As always, we’ll be getting involved with Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day on Friday 13th December, and Scunthorpe John Roe will be making a special visit to St Luke’s School to deliver some presents ahead of the big day.
